Many people have had problems booking a hotel room with Thomson Holidays on-line. Here is how to do it. Go to www.thomson.co.uk and click on Package Holidays. From here you can choose your dates, then Cyprus East Coast and then Mimosa Beach Hotel. At the moment the studios are on hold (due to the owner wanting to sell) but as soon as it is sorted we will let you know either way. Just one extra note - there is no charge for table tennis or the mini-fridge. The kettle has a charge of 1.50 euro per day and only applies to hotel rooms. All babies will have a cot to sleep in!
It seems it is difficult to book with Thomas cook for 2012. When in one of their shops ask for flexible trips and I am assured they will find Mimosa Beach and sort out a flight to match the dates you require. On-line seems to be impossible at the moment but if they get it sorted you need to click on 'flexible trips' and hopefully Mimosa Beach will be there. Failing that telephone 0845-0705567 which is their head office and they will book your holiday. There is no extra charge for the mini-fridge in your room but the kettle has a charge of 1.50 euro per day.
www.hotels4u.com is very easy if you can book on-line and I am told cheaper. The booking will be for the hotel and you can book your flight separately, which I understand can be done while on their web-page.
Cyprus Airways is cheaper the earlier you book but I think it is best to wait until January and British Airways often suddenly drop their prices in January for a 'sale'
Ryan Air now fly to Cyprus from Stansted Airport.
Easy Jet fly into Larnaca from Gatwick and into Paphos from Edinburgh, Gatwick, Luton and Manchester.
